Proofreading and Editing Services

The majority of the documents we receive are saved using Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat or InDesign.
 
In Word, we revise your documents using the Track Changes feature. This handy feature allows you to view and accept or reject our recommendations. After one of our proofers or copy editors checks your documents, you’ll receive:
 
– A clean proofread or copy edited version with all the changes we made accepted, ready to publish.
– A corrected version including all the changes and recommendations we made, allowing you to quickly identify our corrections. You will use the Track Changes feature to accept or decline our suggestions.
– A style sheet listing uniformised terms, punctuation decisions, custom rules for your documents, etc.
 
In Adobe Acrobat or InDesign, we use colours and comments to suggest changes. After proofreading or copy editing your PDF, we’ll send you:
 
– A corrected version including all the changes we recommend and some comments.
– An information sheet explaining the colour code used in the corrected document.
– A style sheet listing uniformised terms, punctuation decisions, custom rules for your documents, etc.
 
Of course, our project manager will be available to answer any questions you may have once you receive your edited content.
